This week’s all about the Crock-Pot! Every day before work, I’m crafting tasty and simple meals to come home to… I love walking into a house full of deliciousness ready to be eaten!! Yesterday it was slow cooker tomato soup, today quinoa and chicken chili- I’m aiming to cook up a wide variety of flavors using a wide variety of proteins. The rest of the week will include an Asian short ribs creation, some butternut squash and chicken stew, and some sort of stuffed peppers. It’s sooo rare for to me to plan ahead like this, but when Crock-Potting, one must be prepared! It’s so exciting to come home to…. like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning, wondering what awesome surprise lies ahead. After work, I zip around town like a maniac, anxiously dying to open my Crock-Pot lid to see what I’ve concocted. It’s a wee absurd I must admit, but what can I say- I’m a little child waiting for Christmas every day 🙂 Recipes to come soon!!
