Nothing says summertime fun like margaritas. And grillin’. So why not combine the two?!
Three tasty blends to enjoy… no matter your style! All made with wholesome real foods… all incredibly delicious.
per cocktail…
INGREDIENTS
grilled pineapple & jalapeño margarita…
1 cup grilled pineapple, roughly chopped
1 grilled small jalapeño pepper (serranos work well too!), seeds removed
1 tsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp honey (I like raw)
1 oz your fave silver tequila (for simple and affordable, I like Milagro)
approx 5 ice cubes
optional: add in a pinch of cilantro or fresh basil!
grilled pineapple & coconut margarita…
1 cup grilled pineapple, roughly chopped
1 tsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp honey (I like raw)
1/4 cup coconut milk (I like full fat)
1 oz your fave silver tequila (for simple and affordable, I like Milagro)
approx 5 ice cubes
grilled pineapple, coconut, & mint blended margarita…
1 cup grilled pineapple, roughly chopped
1 tsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp honey (I suggest raw)
1/4 cup coconut milk (I suggest full fat)
1 tsp mint, packed (the more the merrier)
1 oz your fave silver tequila (for simple and affordable, I like Milagro)
approx 5 ice cubes, plus more as needed
optional for all: salt for rims (I like Himalayan pink salt)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat grill to high
Slice pineapple into rounds… remove rinds and slice into semi circles
(I keep rind on one round for garnish, optional)
For the jalapeño version…
Slice a small jalapeño in half and remove seeds
Lay the pineapple and jalapeño on the grill
Cook for a few minutes on each side, until grill marks are pronounced
Set aside a few pieces of piña for garnish…
Roughly chop the jalapeño and pineapple pieces…
Add the pineapple, jalapeño, lime, and honey into a cocktail shaker or mason jar
(Add fresh herbs, if using)
Muddle until well-mixed
Add tequila and ice, shake, then pour, garnish, and enjoy!
For the grilled pineapple and coconut version…
Grill the pineapple as above
Add the pineapple, lime, coconut milk, and honey to a shaker or jar
Add tequila and ice, shake, pour, and sip up!
For the grilled pineapple, coconut, & mint blended margarita…
Grill pineapple as above
Add the pineapple, coconut milk, lime, honey, mint, tequila, and ice to a NutriBullet or blender
Blend, add ice as needed, pour, garnish, and devour!
